Secure Exam Browser (SEB)

Safe Exam Browser (SEB) is an application that has been created for conducting secure examinations. It is available for Windows, macOS and iOS. SEB is developed and supported by ETH in Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). SEB was developed as open source under the MPL license.

Install high-security mode
📲 iOS Smartphone 
1. Click here or search for "Exam.net" or "Examnet" to find the app in the App Store. 
2. Download the app.
3. To take an exam, start the app, press "Begin exam" and enter the exam key.​​​​​​​
❌ Android Smartphone
1. Currently, SEB has not been developed on Android. Although it is highly recommended for student to take the test on computer/laptop for better interface and experience, student can always access and take the test via any devices which include on Android Smartphone (Chrome browser) by typing in this link (https://exam.net) on to their browser.​​​​​​​
💻 Windows OS
The high-security mode for Windows uses Safe Exam Browser (SEB)
1. Click here to download SEB 2.4 to your device.
2. Double click on the installation file and follow the steps to complete the installation.
💻 macOS
1. The high-security mode for macOS uses Exam.net-app. This requires macOS 10.12 or later.
2. Click here to download Exam.net 1.3.1 for macOS to your device.
3. Double click on the downloaded file and follow the steps to complete the installation
Notes: You never have to start SEB manually, it will start automatically when entering an exam key in Exam.net.
